So here’s the sitch…

(written on Jan 11--transferred from my multiply acct)

So here’s the sitch…

I had an awesome weekend. Last Friday I went to see Lea Salonga at the La Salle coliseum for her concert. It was my second time to see her perform live, the first one was a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it the first time I saw her so I invited friends to watch with me for my second time. So I had my aunt and my cuz Kat with me.

A day before the concert, Thursday, Gerhard and I got the chance to see her up close. She was just a few inches away. I even got a photo of her in my phone. I love it haha!

Back to the concert..it was nice to see her sing songs which I thought she don’t sing. One example is halik by Aegis. She sang it with Ai-ai and she did great!...also I heard new songs and I downloaded them the day after and now they’re in my ‘most played’ in my music player..haha!

So that was Friday.

Saturday was so-so. I went to school as early as I possibly could. But to my dismay, the teacher did not arrive. Boo-hoo!

I went home 30minutes after I left the house on that same day. Such a waste of effort trying not to be late. Ughh! The point that I’m trying to make is that when teachers decide to be absent on a certain day, it would be so much better if they at least inform their students beforehand. They also have a right to have absences like students do, alright. However, informing students earlier would not hurt.

After we had lunch, my aunt went over to our house and encouraged my mom and I to go with her to check out a piece of land near Murcia. It was actually next to Mambucal itself but it’s a bit small and too high. But I really envision a rest house being built on it. Anyway, we then went to Robinsons to just rove. I ate a grilled ensaymada from Bob’s which I have been wanting to eat but I wasn’t able to since it has been a while since my last visit at Robinsons and they are the only branch which serves the grilled ensaymada which is totally to-die-for!..no kidding.

On Sunday we went to our aunts house to have our braces adjusted. My cousins, Adrianne and Nico together with my sister and I went to Valladolid. I was really looking forward because my aunt who also happens to be my dentist told me a month ago that my braces will already be removed but something went wrong with her dental equipments and we had to postpone the removal of my braces. Ughh! Double uggh!...but it was just fine with me. Maybe it wasn’t really the proper time. So now my braces it a little bit too tight.

When we went back at home, my mom shared to me a very oh-so-disgusting family secret which is seemingly unbearable. When I first heard it I was like, “oh my effing god?!!!”…I know I overreacted a little bit but my reaction was appropriate, believe me. It is unimaginable!...I attempted to share it with a few of my closest friends but I just can’t. I am going to carry it with me on my grave. But just a hint: it is not about my immediate family, for heaven’s sake.

So that’s it. I’m glad I made it through another week. Another one has just started today and we’ll see what’s gonna happen. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

*K*
