Okay, I know that it has been a really long while since had my last blog post...but now that I am starting this new decade, might as well start it by writing a blog...
alright, I can really say that I had a blast last night...I went to mass with mom, dad, ees and Ata ging 'cause it has been our tradition to go to mass during the 31st of December to you know, bless us all throughout the year....my mom and I were dressed in our lectors' uniform because we were told that we will have our investiture during that night. Well, guess what?...we were not informed that it was postponed and so we were the only ones wearing that uniform..I know right?...IT WAS A BIG JOKE...lol...at first I was really mad and all but then I remembered that it was new year's eve and I might carry that bad attitude with me whole year so I just let it go...
when we got home, i changed into my cute baby doll dress....same as with my sister's..we had it on together just for fun..haha...we prepared the food outside and we used our horns...we blew them as loud as we can, as if to deflate ourselves with all the air we have inside our bodies...we blew it simultaneously, one after the other...I believed that as I blew those horns, I also blew all the negativity away--the hurt, bad memories, regrets (?), heartaches(?), and everything else that is not needed by my system...
as for my mom's traditions, we had 888 pieces of coins.....and we had them on top of a bowl of rice...we also rolled 88 pieces of those little oranges all around our house...my aunt said it is swerte so we just follow her....weird right?
we lit a few pieces of firecrackers, had a glass of wine and we danced the night away...
and so this is it! hello 2010...brace yourself because I can feel that this is going to be my year....yeahbahhhh!!!
haha...may God bless us all...I believe, sabay2 tayong yayaman...may the Lord bestow us with peace, prosperity, and most of all, love
*K*
